about Vom Bösen Blick
dana and maliIt's important to choose a breeder who's ethics you agree with and who has honest experience in dogs. Many "breeders" put up fancy websites and throw out terms they truely do not understand. A real breeder must spend time studying not only pedigrees but structure and see many individual dogs. Buyers should beware of breeders who have jumped into the "game" with little or no experience other than "owning" a Rottweiler before. Beware of breeders who count their "experience" in the breed from their very first dog, or combine experience with other individuals to make themselves seem more experienced than they truly are.

Many of these people will be on their 6th or 7th litter in short time, ready to pump out puppies with high price tags. These are people who are pumping out puppies and NOT actually taking the time to improve the breed. Studying dog structure and temperament takes time. Also beware of people who are breeding "working" dogs but have never stepped on a schutzhund field or titled a dog before. Because these are my beliefs, I have spent over 10 years studying the breed and am just now putting my first litter on the ground in 2009. I have titled dogs in many venues and worked protection as both a handler and as a decoy so I can better understand canine temperament. Since I work as a professional dog trainer, my full resume can be found by clicking here.

My dogs are FIRST and FOREMOST competition dogs. We show in conformation in an effort to support local shows, but my passion lies with working venues. I consider myself a working dog person and prefer dog sport any day of the week. Many people claim to be "working dog" breeders without ever having trialed a dog. My goals are to produce the kind of dog I would like to take onto a competition field.
